Wonder - Eastern Bluebird in Flight

It’s hard to pick favorites but, the Eastern Bluebird is at the top of the list for Jessica Concepcion. She spent an entire spring (actually closer to four months) outside her North Carolina retreat trying to capture an image of this magical little guy. Eastern Bluebirds aren’t elusive. They are plentiful and easily spotted on the East Coast of the United States, but they did not want their picture taken this particular spring. To celebrate the one auspicious Spring day that she was finally able to get a focused photo, Concepcion created Wonder.

“I am very thankful for those frustrating Spring months and that beautiful bluebird. He taught me patience and showed me the beauty of stillness during a time when internally I was anything but still.”
