”The symbology is simpler in this yet because it’s very specific to an experience I had a few years ago, it might be the opaquest symbolism. I was kayaking in the Florida Keys and paddled out to an island not far from shore. I found a conch shell, picked it up and saw two little alien eyes staring back at me. They were long rods with eyeballs at the ends. I guess I never thought about what the actual creature looked like before and it made quite an impact. I wanted to use it in the last piece and only show my eyes because you find humanity in the most unexpected places sometimes. “
